Dubai, UAE – 24 September 2012 – The Porsche Club UAE, the official club for Porsche owners in the UAE with over 2,000 members announces its partnership with ORZ Performance LLC, a Dubai based company which represents the world’s leading brake manufacturer, Brembo High Performance.

The partnership between Porsche and Brembo is not new. Brembo has supplied Porsche with its Original Equipment braking systems for more than 20 years and now sponsors the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup.
When asked “why Brembo?”, Al-Azhari responded “today’s F1 tracks are more demanding than ever. This combined with the high temperatures in the Middle East, puts a lot of pressure on braking systems. Brembo has great solutions for this”.
After upgrading his Porsche 911 GT2 brakes to the Brembo GT Kit, and testing it on the Circuit, Al-Azhari reported the following to ORZ Performance:
“I am pleased to inform you the braking performance of the 911 GT2 on Circuit in our UAE heat has never been as good as now since upgrading it to the Brembo GT Kit!
Lap after Lap of my aggressive braking style, which I have become well known for, the brakes have continued to perform immaculately. The deceleration was always perfect. I could hit the brake pedal hard every time getting the exact same response from the braking system, giving me even, consistent, high levels of deceleration and my 911 responded perfectly, remaining stable and poised throughout each heavy braking zone. What a perfect match!
The 2 best upgrades I have done to my Porsche for concentrated Circuit activities have been the upgrade of the brakes to Brembo GT Kit, and the tires to Pirelli semi-slicks. While they are a welcome upgrade for performance driving on-road, they are simply amazing for maximum performance and pleasure on Circuits.
Please note, I endorse Road Safety and recommend driving responsibly at all times. I keep the high levels of performance of motor vehicles to be enjoyed on our Circuits only.”
